Otzi The Iceman

A post from the past.

Really enjoying looking back over the old blog posts at The Masterplan and Me as it’s providing some inspiration to revisit previous topics.

A couple of years back we were delighted to discover a £1.50 bargain at a boot sale which lead to a home-ed topic about Otzi the Iceman. Simply a National Geographic Kit requiring the assembly of a skeleton to be placed in a mould of water for freezing followed by children happily chipping away as an archaeologist with the tools included. Much discussion came on the back of this toy; ice mummies found including Otzi. Check out Video Clips on You Tube and see how through computer software we can work out what he may have looked like.
